Men's Bible Study
The purpose ouf this ministry is to enable men to grow in their relationship with God, His Son and the Holy Spirit based on the teaching of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church. Encourage men to increase their prayer lives and promote spiritual fellowship and brotherhood among men of the Church. Encourage heartfelt, spirited and lively discussion of scripture in an open and humble setting.
All are adult men who are striving to increase their faith, love and knowledge of God through the Catholic Church's teaching and perceptive.
Men’s Bible study has no firm time commitment. Meetings are held every Tuesdays from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. in the Parish Center. Men are welcome to come both regularly or as their schedule permits.
The main activity of Men’s Bible study is scripture based lessons. Lessons typically follow a predefined lesson plan that can be found online. Previous topics have included Salvation History, The Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Lively Virtues by Fr. Barron, The Gospel According to Luke, and Apologetics/Defending the Faith, Lessons are led by volunteer facilitators and discussion is openly encouraged to ensure that the knowledge of the entire group is utilized to further everyone’s understanding.
