Divine Mercy Scholars

Homeschooling Families

The Divine Mercy Scholars Ministry, in response to our vocational call as primary educators of our children, commit ourselves to help those who are interested in or currently involved in home education. We are faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church and strive to live out our faith daily.

our mission

To support the growth of the Catholic community of homeschooling families by providing:

  • Support for Catholic homeschooling families.

  • Academic enrichment through classes.

  • Social events and field trips.

  • Participation in liturgical worship and major feast days.

  • Community outreach through service opportunities.

We are open to students of all ages, Pre-K through 12th grade.  We offer a range of classes including enrichment, virtue, pre-k, and required high school courses.

Our name

The name, Divine Mercy Scholars, was chosen to help us convey our mission to the parish and the community. Jesus appeared to St. Faustina in 1931 and revealed his message of His Divine Mercy to her.  We hope to teach our children the Divine Mercy message which can simply be put by remembering ABC:

A -  Ask for His Mercy

B -  Be merciful

C -  Completely trust in Jesus

We have put together a list of resources for children of all ages and their families.

This comprehensive list includes picture books, Bibles stories, Catechism, liturgical celebrations, prayers, sacraments and more. There are also audio, video and web-based resources.
