Gardening
It is well known that gardening is referenced throughout the entire Bible. Whether it's at the beginning with the Garden of Eden in Genesis, to the mustard seed parables of the New Testament gospels. Gardening is a special tool that God has blessed us with, providing us with benefits both physical and spiritual.
Join Our Garden Ministry
We would like to encourage anyone who has an interest in gardening to join our Garden Ministry. This ministry is for adult men and women. The great news is that you do not need to have a green thumb, just a desire to beautify our church! Responsibilities include planning, planting garden beds, planting containers, watering, pruning, and all other necessary garden maintenance. It includes healthy outside work, so be ready to move!
We'll have fun planting projects during the growing season. Come equipped with some basic garden tools, such as hand shovels, kneeling pads, trowels, garden gloves, and even a bottle of water and a garden hat for sun protection!
Our hope is that this ministry will continue to grow and that the entire parish finds the gardens welcoming during all the seasons of the year. We are slowly establishing new landscapes, and improving many areas around the church, that the community will use to reflect on and find joy in God's creation.
