Music Ministry

The mission of the Music Ministry at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through sacred music, lead the assembly in musical prayer, and inspire all who hear our music to become closer to God. We provide an opportunity for musicians to share their gifts and become an integral part of the liturgy.
Our Choirs

St. Cecilia Choir
Adults, Sundays -- 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses
Rehearsals on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Requiem Choir
Adults -- Funeral Masses
Rehearsals scheduled quarterly must be available weekday mornings for Funerals

Children's Choir
Children in grades 2-8 -- Seasonal Masses
Rehearsals during the school year on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Evening Choir
Sundays -- 6 p.m. Mass
Rehearsals on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Spanish Choir
Saturdays 7 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. Masses
Rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Filipino Choir
First Saturday of the month -- 10 a.m. Mass
Rehearsals every other Friday from 6:30 p.m.- to 8 p.m.

Polish Choir
Last Sunday of the month -- 3 p.m. Mass
Rehearsals on the Friday before Mass – 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Portuguese Choir
Second and Fourth Fridays of the month -- 7 p.m. Mass
Rehearsals every other Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Hand Bell Choir
Adults and Teens -- Special Masses
Rehearsals seasonally on Monday evenings

Children’s Choir
Not only do the children sing at Mass throughout the school year, but they will also develop musical skills that translate to other areas of their lives, such as analyzing, listening, self-discipline, teamwork, math, and more.
Children in grades 2-8 can participate.

Soundboard Operator
If you prefer to work behind the scenes, volunteering as a soundboard operator is one way to serve the parish. Training is provided.
